Social Game Fest
Social Games and Social Applications on platforms like Facebook are drawing developers and artists in like never before. There’s good reason. Like mobile games devlopers don’t necessarily need enormous budgets and backing. Small teams can and do make innovative and popular games and applications.
A Social Game Fest is an event where people create Social Games and Social
Applications for platforms such as Facebook.
Often people use these game jam type events to find and form
teams as well as get practical stick time building their game or app.
You can join the Social Game Fest group on Facebook to stay posted.
Sessions 1 & 2 of the Social Game Fest will provide basic background information
and practice on the Facebook API among other topics.
For registration go to the Social Game Fest Website. Each fest is a series of four sessions.
You can pick and chose which to attend. Attending all four is recommended as best
unless you have recently built a social app or game.
There are fests scheduled for Sunnyvale, San Jose and Fremont. Enjoy!
