About PX Interactive

PX Interactive is a team of games industry veterans working alongside technology researchers that saw innovative opportunities to create highly scalable networks for MMOs and Virtual Worlds. We have experience at big developers like Square Enix as well as independent studios, and our team holds multiple patents in networking and security and has done research on a breadth of topics including distributed networking, security, and natural language processing. Our favorite games include Baldur’s Gate, Super Metroid, The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion, and NHL 94.

Presentation Summary

At games night, we will be presenting the NetDog engine - a robust and flexible networking engine for creating large, high performance worlds. Netdog is built on our patent-pending load distribution tools, and has an intuitive interface that provides robust high-level tools, yet is customizable to meet the needs of your game.

Our presentation will provide an overview of Netdog’s technology, then we will give a brief demonstration of the technology – demonstrating Netdog’s ease of integration by showing an integration with the Irrlicht graphics engine, then we will show how large networks can be created by adding large numbers of users to different demonstrations, and finally, we will illustrate Netdog’s flexible easy-to-use interface by showcasing its developer tools.
