Hi All this Thursday we have a guest speaker gamely presenting a demo of a game ideas in progress

Ever an avid gamer, Charles Kiptin enjoys making games to challenge his fellow gamers. Now with the newly founded Decision Point Games, his degrees in English Literature and Computer Science serve him well in his dual role as game designer and programmer.
Decision Point Games was founded on the idea that the best games provide players with interesting choices. Those choices and decisions found in a game are ultimately determined by the players. The plan is to make great games. And for that we need great players — players like you. With this in mind, we’ll explore the nature of games and the process that keeps us playing them. And just as every player is unique, so is every game.
Come and join us Thursday Feb 10 at Coco’s in Mountain View.
Time: 7:30PM
Location: Coco’s

Here’s an update on upcoming dates.
First of all we are confirmed for Wednesday March 16 at Google for a larger game speaker and game demo night event so please put down that date and if you are interested in speaking to a large game event crowd please contact.
Secondly for our smaller more casual monthly meetings the date for the first meeting at Coco’s has changed and been confirmed starting Thursday January 13 at 7:30. More info, reminders and directions will be posted and forthcoming. This is our first time with a monthly at this venue which will provide us room to expand and have speakers. Expect things to be “in training”, we don’t have a screen for speakers yet (am going to be checking Craig’s list for a cheap one) and will be figuring out set up, but hey no excuse not to get started, potential is there. We are also now on the Coco’s calendar for 2011 monthly meeting on every third Wednesday of the month if we decide to stay with our monthy’s there.
Lots of fun, more info forthcoming and lot of opportunities for people and companies to present games and game tools on an ongoing basis either in small friendly or larger more splashy events. Enjoy!
